Elliott Davis to Receive United Way of the Midlands Spirit of the Midlands Award for Corporate Leadership
Columbia, S.C. (May 29, 2020) – Elliott Davis was selected to receive United Way of the Midlands Spirit of the Midlands Award for Corporate Leadership.

Elliott Davis is recognized for its overall spirit of giving through contributions of time, leadership, and resources in support of United Way’s work to fight for the health, education and financial stability of everyone in the Midlands.
“Elliott Davis has made a tremendous difference in helping the United Way of the Midlands meet critical needs of the community,” said Sara Fawcett, United Way of the Midlands President and CEO. “We are pleased to recognize the company for its deep and expanding commitment to community service.”
Through Elliott Davis Care, a corporate program, associates have 24 hours of paid time annually to volunteer. In the Columbia office, 90% of the associates participate.
Elliott Davis’ philanthropic efforts in the past year include contributing more than $45,000 to the United Way, an increase in employee giving of 25% over the previous year. Elliott Davis employees volunteered more than 3,000 hours to the United Way Community Impact Partners such as Transitions, Harvest Hope Food Bank, Salvation Army Thriftstore and other community organizations.

This is the second year that Elliott Davis has received the Spirit of the Midlands Award for Corporate Leadership for its outstanding local community support efforts.
The Spirit of the Midlands Award for Corporate Leadership is presented to a corporate partner that embodies an overall spirit of giving through contributions of time, leadership, and resources in support of United Way’s work in priority issues of financial stability, health access and education.
