Covid-19 Updates

We are monitoring the situation closely and staying in regular contact with government agencies, health organizations, our Community Impact Partners and the United Way Association of South Carolina. We are also working with DHEC and other agencies to provide sheltering and isolation methods for homeless populations.

Stay Home, Stay Safe

Columbia City Council instituted the Stay Home, Stay Safe Ordinance, which went into effect on March 28, 2020. On April 1, 2020, Governor McMaster's executive order to close all non-essential businesses for 15 days goes into effect.

Stay Informed

DHEC provides a daily update on COVID-19 cases for all South Carolina counties as well as information about traveling, protecting yourself, and more.

The South Carolina Emergency Management Division (SCEMD) is providing information about how the outbreak impacts schools, businesses, and taxpayers.

The One SC Fund: COVID-19 Response

To give to the state: The One SC Fund: COVID-19 Response is a partnership between SC Grantmakers Network, Together SC, and the United Way Association of SC. The funds will be held at Central Carolina Community Foundation. The funds deployed will enhance the efforts already underway in several counties and regions across South Carolina and will be used to address gaps in the response efforts, including support for communities that lack resources or an organized philanthropic response.

Stay Healthy

If you have fever, cough or shortness of breath, call your doctor or healthcare provider to discuss your concerns or get medical care. You can also use MUSC Health’s virtual visit by using the promo code "COVID19."

Volunteer

You can help your community doing volunteer activities like preparing meals for school children, donating blood, and more.
