Learn More About
2-1-1
Did you know, in addition to the many signature programs that each United Way offers in their local community, there’s a statewide health and human services resource available to everyone? This hotline, known as 2-1-1 is hosted by South Carolina United Ways and serves as a great community resource.
2-1-1 is an easy to remember, three-digit telephone number that connects people with important community services to meet everyday needs and the immediate needs of people in crisis. It is a resource for finding assistance in your local community and can offer information on: • Affordable high quality child care and after-school care • Counseling and support groups • Health services • Food, clothing, and housing • Services for seniors and the disabled
