Campaign Center
As a Midlands resident, you are no doubt aware of the issues facing our
community: low graduation rates, persistent poverty and a lack of affordable
health care. You may not be aware, however, of the efforts United Way of the
Midlands and its 45,000 donors and volunteers are making to help students
succeed, increase financial stability and provide access to health care.
The solutions to these problems are not simple,
but when we Live United, we can tackle even the toughest problems in the
Midlands and make this a place where people can realize their dreams, live
healthy lives and prosper now and into the future. We all win when a child graduates from school, when families
can afford to meet their basic needs and when we have the opportunity to lead
healthy, productive lives.
How do we do it? By
recruiting people like you from all across the community who have the passion,
resources and commitment to get things done.
We have a long way to go, but there is a lot you can do:
You can give. You can make a
personal contribution. Your financial support enables this important work to
continue.
You can advocate. Help us
spread the word about the good work United Way is doing in the community.
You can volunteer. We are
always looking for board and council members. You can also help by volunteering
to read to students, help prepare tax returns or find another project through
United Way’s volunteer center.
We sincerely appreciate your support. Together, we are making lasting
change in the lives of thousands across the Midlands.
