United Way of the Midlands Blog

As many of our readers and donors know, a comprehensive public transportation system is something that Midlands community truly needs.

On the November 6^th ballot voters in Richland County will have the opportunity to make this happen through approval of a penny sales tax dedicated to comprehensive transportation improvements. I wanted to take a minute to share the new website for the lead advocacy organization in the penny effort (Citizens for a Greater Midlands) and also let you know we will have flyers in the next couple weeks to share as well.
