Volunteer Center Manager - United Way of the Midlands:
The Volunteer Center Manager is responsible for the management and growth of a volunteer center program.  This includes developing opportunities for volunteers and service, matching corporate groups and teams to service projects, supporting capacity-building of Midlands nonprofits through technical assistance and placement of volunteers, and promoting the value of volunteer service and civic engagement through special projects and recognition events. Americorps*VISTA Members:

On December 21, 2009, Richland County First Steps made the exciting announcement that it had been awarded an EARLY HEAD START grant!  This grant award creates 9 new full time positions at RCFS/EHS. In addition, RCFS is looking for an Administrative Coordinator.  This position is not part of the Early Head Start grant, but is a result of an opening made by the grant award. Advocate Counselor – Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands:
The successful candidate will enhance and expand comprehensive services for survivors of sexual assault to include crisis intervention, information and referral, individual and group therapy, and advocacy within the criminal justice systems. Qualifications include a Masters Degree in social work, counseling or a related field and one year of experience working with sexual assault survivors preferred.
